Unlike our Group Swim Lessons, there are no formal development levels in a private swim lesson structure. These lessons can serve as a supplement to our youth swim lessons, or they can be taken in lieu of our group lessons.
Private and Semi-Private Lessons have a more specific focus. We tailor the curriculum to your specific needs, so swimmers learn at a comfortable pace.
Private lessons are one-on-one, while semi-private swim lessons are for siblings who can learn together in the same class setting. As with any child or adult in YMCA swim lessons, we make no guarantee that the participant will learn to swim in a specified number of lessons. This is an individual progression.

Pricing for private and semi-private lessons will vary based on member or non-member status as well as the amount of lessons purchased and the time frame of each lesson.
